This Saturday, we had our second annual Clothing Party! It was a blast, but my what a different experience it was from our last clothing party (read about it here). Our first party seemed to be more of a drunken house party that just happened to have vintage clothes for sale. This time around, it was all about the clothes, and less about the party. Which was great, because it really showed us that people in our city are really excited about vintage clothing.
We did the same set up as last time, with a few improvements.
I made my famous Sangria, which was a hit as always, and my favorite chocolate zucchini cupcakes.
It was great to see a lot of friends that came to our last party and even more new attendees. We were thrilled to have Jentine (from the fabulous my edit blog) swing by, in which she scored our adorable tutu dress amongst other things! Our new friend Erin (from the Dear Edna blog and etsy shop) came for some shopping and showed off some of her goods, so cute!!
After everyone was all shopped out, only the die hards were left to party, and did we ever! We headed out to a party hosted by our friends from Flatspot at a local bar where we did some hardcore dancing! It's probably a good thing my camera battery died so we weren't able to document the debauchery!
Thanks again to all our friends that came! It was a lot of work but so worth it. We're already looking forward to planning the next one.
